Jan Peter Hammer’s work is on our anemic imagination and the different refusals of collective history either plagued by power differentials, exploitation, and militarism. For Die Balkone, he created a site-specific installation by using one of the elements of his earlier work, which marked his balcony as a temporary micro-nation.
