For more than two decades, Dolores Zinny and Juan Maidagan have produced large-scale installations to investigate architecture through the history of a site and to challenge traditional notions around exhibition space and creating new meanings. It was their love for Tadeusz Kantor that brought them together. For Die Balkone, they realized a stage view from their everyday in their large terrace looking over Alexanderplatz, with a readymade in blue and white stripes after Daniel Buren.
