Maidan (Kiew), Studio (Berlin, 2014
an installation by Christine Würmell
Christine Wuermell researches on mise-en-abyme signs of the world politically, sensually, and socially. She intervenes in the image layers to challenge that watching distance generated in the world every time a pattern-changing event, reaction, or tragedy takes place somewhere. She contributed to Die Balkone with her Maydan (Kiew) piece from 2014.
